Are you a citizen or permanent resident of Kazakhstan?

Have you ever wanted to see the iconic ‘Big Ben’ clock tower, take a ride on the London Eye, or cross the picturesque Tower Bridge?

If you answered yes to both of these questions, you’re in luck.

Air Astana, Kazakhstan’s premiere airline, has daily flights to London, England.

Originally slated to just be a domestic airline within Kazakhstan, Air Astana has grown very quickly and developed an impressive international lineup of destinations in less than two decades. Their reputation for excellence is such that, even though – up until December of 2016 – the European Union banned the Kazakhstan Civil Aviation Committee over regulatory concerns, Air Astana was granted special permission to be the only Kazakh airline allowed to operate in EU airspace.

Today, in addition to hitting all of the major cities within Kazakhstan, many destinations within Russia, and an ever-growing list of South and Southeast Asian locations, Air Astana continues to service the EU – of particular note, London.

While it remains to be seen how long London will be a part of the EU, at the moment, Air Astana travels to Heathrow daily.

London is a tremendous cultural and economic hub. Thousands of tourists make the trip to see Parliament, the Tower of London, the Natural History Museum, and, of course, who could forget Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter. Additionally, the de facto capital of Great Britain serves as a one of the world’s most important finance centers. It attracts visitors for business and pleasure alike.

For the nearly 18 million people living in Kazakhstan – the world’s largest landlocked country – the best option for visiting London has to be Air Astana.
